IS THIS LIFE WHAT YOU INTENDED?

Who am I?
The question above is an important question many young people have asked themselves. Who am I? What kind of purpose will I serve? What do I want to accomplish? These are all very critical questions to ask one's self. It is daunting to know where to start.
Fortunately, there are people on this planet who have walked similar paths to which you would like to trek. These people are potential mentors. They have been on this earth longer than you and have experienced some of the successes and failures you want and need to experience yourself. These people, if treated appropriately are a wealth of knowledge and advice. In today's world, even the most stratospheric of potential mentors can be contacted through various forms of technology. In a book that I am reading, The Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss, I have been challenged to do as such and reach out to some of the people that I would love to have as a potential mentor. After a timely personal search I have come up with reaching out to Aubrey Marcus, founder of onnit.com; Steven Pressfield, author of War of Art and Turning Pro; and Seth Godin, disrupter, innovator and author of books such as What to do When it's Your Turn. These three individuals all have taken the responsibility to live with intent and produce content and action that helps influence people.
I have a curiosity of when these individuals knew they needed to live a life of intent. When did they decide they have a credible voice? Did they ever decide this?
The only way to know is to ask.
